The other reason I am very grateful is because Tie Dye Diva sewing patterns, Hancock Fabrics , Craftsy and Fabric.com are some of my favorite websites out there, and Zulily...I can't wait to shop with them!!!
Tie Dye Diva sewing patterns:
I should probably thanks Jen, the owner and pattern maker behind Tie Dye Diva sewing patterns personally.
I stumbled upon her website months ago, and her beautiful, one of a kind patterns have inspired me to start creating clothing for kids.
Her patterns are unique, sophisticated and whimsical. Just go and check them to have an idea of how beautiful your kids would look on her creations! Specially now, since they are having a bundle promotion: 25% discount when you buy 3 or more patterns using the code BUNDLE.

Online fabric stores, such as Hancock Fabrics and Fabric.com aren't just beautiful places to shop, they are also very convenient.
Before having Owen, my 2 year old son, I used to go to fabric stores and stay there for hours! Literally. There was so much to see and touch, making it very enjoyable to me.
Then Owen was born and I could not find the time to visit my favorite stores for the first 8 months of his existence.
One day, when he was starting to walk, I decided to take a trip downtown and buy some fabrics. HUGE mistake! Who will know that he loves glitter? :)
As you can tell, it was a big mess: he was touching every single item, putting buttons on his mouth, while I was trying to keep an eye on the right fabrics to choose. Sigh. NEVER AGAIN.
Then, I found out about the wonders of buying fabrics online:
1. Cheaper: on average, I save about 20% on the final price- even when including the shipping costs. That makes it already a great deal!
2. Convenient: I used to spend hours commuting and buying the fabrics. To be honest, it was not fun anymore. Even when my husband was staying at home looking after Owen, I knew I had to be back at home as soon as I could. NO MORE FUN.
Plus, carrying bags full of fabrics on the bus was not the ideal neither.
Now, I just turn on the computer and browse, for hours.
The best part of it: I can save my cart or make a wishlist that I can review later and buy the fabrics when I am ready to do so.
3. Promotions: They always have great prices and special promotions, such as the 10% discount on Hancock Fabrics (remember using the code on the banner below). To give you an idea of the fabrics they have for less than 6 dollars per yard, before using your discount code.
Fabric.com:
One of my favorite fabric stores. I have personally used them and they are great!
Very professional and expedited. It took about 3 business days to get the fabrics at my door. I remember once my purchase came with a special surprise.
I got the lucky last piece of the roll LOL. The piece was 8 inches longer and it came with a ticket saying that I got the jackpot. That made my day.
Besides, they have the ongoing FREE SHIPPING on $35 purchase. Are you still reading this article or are you already checking on your next purchase?

Craftsy:
Last, but not least, my favorite indie designers store online. Craftsy was, and still is, my number one source of visitors. If have not heard about them before, it is an online store where you can find patterns, supplies and courses-not just for sewing, but knitting, crocheting, home decoration, cooking, gardening, photography and all the other good things in life :)
You might also find FREE amazing sewing courses and patterns. To open an account is easy: you can log in with your Facebook account or your email address.
